Education Committee

Mission

Provide members with educational opportunities increasing the knowledge and professionalism of members by planning and executing basic, required and advanced education through online and classroom opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Aid Executive Director in contacting, negotiating and securing prospective instructors

• Submit Committee reports to the Board

• Provide Recommendations for future committees

• Plan, coordinate, and submit for board approval the following education:

1. Monthly Meetings: January, February, March, May, June, August, September, November

2. Spring Education

3. State Convention Education (Second week of October Thur/Fri).  To include tracks of education for: Owner, Manager, and Maintenance

4. Additional Education as requested by the membership

• Plan and coordinate Maintenance Mania event. To include marketing, education, and sponsor support.
